Careel is a 10 metre high speed Cougar Catamaran as used by Police Rescue and Coastguard departments, She was custom built locally in 1996, is extremely stable and boasts a top speed of 37 knots. With a fishing platform larger than most vessels we can cater for groups to 12 in undercover comfort. Careel is powered by 2 x 250hp Yamaha engines fitted new in February 2002, we can go faster so we can fish the deep outer reefs and remember, when you go faster you can fish longer! Careel has all the creature comforts including private toilet, shower and seating for all. Owner operator Matt Johnson uses his extensive local knowledge to give your group a memorable and adventurous day fishing, so don't just go fishing....... go fishthedeep it will thrill you with fun.

Directions From Brisbane :
From Pacific Highway take exit number 62: Brisbane Road . Follow for 10 minutes to T-intersection at end of Brisbane Road . Turn right into Frank Street . Turn left into the first street: Marine Parade. Labrador / Harley Park Public Pontoon is 200 meters along this street on the Left.
 
Directions From Surfers Paradise:
From Gold Coast Highway heading north, drive over the Sundale Bridge and through Southport . Once you pass McDonalds on the left, turn into the first street on the right, which is Marine Parade. Follow this street for 1.4 Kms until you see Deepwater Point Apartments on your left. Labrador / Harley Park Pontoon is now on your right.

Please be at the pontoon 15 minutes prior to the boat leaving.
 
 Free pick-up service is available to customers staying in the Gold Coast CBD area.
